With a long overdue awareness of mental health care coming to the fore, set against the backdrop of a global pandemic, supporting employees' mental and physical wellbeing has never been more important. On top of the usual everyday stressors, employees may also have recently experienced stress and anxiety linked to Covid-19, the cost of living, or other external variables.
Reflexology is well suited to workplace wellbeing as it can quickly help employees to relax and release tension, whilst only requiring them to remove their socks and shoes. I have enjoyed working with companies across London in many industries, including Hotels, Financial Services and Recruitment.
I can adapt the treatment length to suit your requirements - shorter treatments where the emphasis is on allowing access to as many employees as possible, or longer treatments if we have more time so spend.
Workplace wellbeing packages needn't necessarily be an additional expense to the company either. Whilst some companies may choose to offer treatments as a paid-for benefit to employees, others may simply provide the opportunity and convenience for employees to utilise at their own expense, or through their healthcare plans, where possible.
Employers are uniquely placed to support their staff's well-being, and what better time to do it than now?
In the 1990s several small on-site reflexology studies were carried out in large companies in Denmark. The results indicated changes in absenteeism, stress, ailments and also of loyalty and increased satisfaction in their jobs when a reflexologist was available. Setting aside any reported changes in the physical symptoms of ailments, these studies still demonstrated many possible benefits of well-being treatments for employees and employer. In general, reflexology may help employees to relax, improve their mood, aid better sleep, and promote a general sense of well-being. Providing the opportunity for them to receive the treatments may also enhance a sense of loyalty and satisfaction with the company, which in turn will benefit the employers.
I can work with you to arrange tailor-made wellbeing packages to suit your company and work environment, offering Reflexology sessions of suitable length to suit your needs. It is a non-invasive treatment where the recipients remain fully-clothed (other than removing their socks and shoes), meaning it is convenient for a work environment. Corporate Reflexology is available across London and parts of Surrey by request, please get in touch to discuss.
As a member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR), I am fully qualified and insured, and undertake regular CPD courses to further my knowledge and skills.
Through an extensive network of well-being colleagues, I can incorporate other beneficial services into a tailor-made corporate wellbeing package, including:
