Aftercare

Looking after yourself after your treatment

To ensure you feel optimal benefit from your treatment, it's important to follow the below advice afterwards:

  • Drink plenty of water
  • Limit your intake of caffeine and alcohol
  • Take time to rest and relax
  • Follow any recommendations you've been given

Following your treatment you may notice some positive reactions including:

  • A feeling of relaxation
  • Sleeping deeply
  • Improved mood
  • A feeling of wellbeing

It is possible you may experience a healing reaction as your body commences the self-healing process, including some of the below symptoms. This is normal, and should pass within 24 – 48 hours. If they persist beyond this period, or you are worried or feel unwell, do consult your doctor:

  • Temporary tiredness
  • Feeling emotional or low mood
  • Mild headache
  • Increased thirst and/or urination/defecation
  • Cold-like symptoms
  • A temporary increase in symptoms

If you have any questions before, during or after your treatment, you can ask me at any point.
